Dubbed the Dreamliner, the Boeing 787 is a wide-body twin-engine jet airliner being developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes that will carry up to 330 passengers. It’s considered to be more fuel-efficient than previous Boeing aircraft, and Boeing’s use of composite materials for most of its construction makes it the first major airliner to do so. Once again, Boeing turned to Curtiss-Wright Controls as a trusted partner to supply a variety of components for the 787.
